Staffing update

At the end of April, we will be saying a sad goodbye to Sue Snell, our current Operations Director, who will be retiring.  We wish Sue all the very best in her new adventures and will say more of our goodbyes in our April Newsletter.

Sue says:After a wonderful three years as part of the Life Project’s family of lovely people I am happily confident that I am leaving you in safe hands. I’m looking forward to seeing how the Life Project develops and grows in the coming years and as I am remaining in Bath I look forward to keeping in touch with all that’s happening (not least making sure I don’t miss the Cream Teas….).”

The recruitment process for a new Chief Executive has been very successful and we are thrilled to announce that we will be welcoming Rich Blake-Lobb to this role at the beginning of June.

Rich says: “I am really excited to be joining the Life Project and getting to know each of you in the coming months. Those with whom I have spoken refer to the Life Project as family and I feel honoured to be welcomed at such an interesting time. I am currently a Baptist Minister, serving a church in West London but my roots are in the West Country so I am delighted to be venturing to Bath. I have a varied background working with young people in a range of settings from churches to a Children’s Hospice. As I venture West I am joined by my wife, children and our tortoise – I am sure you will meet them all in due course. As the lockdown restrictions ease, I believe that there are wonderful opportunities ahead and am intrigued to see where God will lead us together as the Life Project family. I enjoy adventures, good company, dark chocolate and black coffee.”
