As a charity we are thankful for the generosity of many people who have donated to ensure that our groups and activities continue to flourish.

There will always be a need for us to raise funds through the generosity of individuals and groups but as we face the cost-of-living crisis we have a campaign to raise £30,000 in 150 days between 1st November 2022 and 31st March 2023, here’s how you can help out:

Become a Life-Saver

Life-Savers are individuals or groups who are in a position to make a one-off donation to support the Life-Project.

• Individual Donation: If you are in position to afford a one-off donation to the Life Project You can easily donate to us via our LocalGiving page or get in touch (finance@lifeprojectbath.org.uk) if you have cash or cheque that you would like to give.
• Group/ School/ Business/ Church Donation: Are you part of a group, an organisation, business or church? If so, we’d love to be considered as your charity for the year or one of the mission projects you support. We can supply resources for you to share about the Life Project and if you would like we can arrange for one of our team to come and meet you. • Fundraising: Whether you are an individual, a group of friends, a church, business, school or other organisation there are loads of ways you can raise money and we hope that we are able to keep the fun-in-fundraising. Recently we have appreciated one family who hosted a nearly new sale at their home with tea and cake, raising in the region of £800. In the spirit of Captain Tom a lady in her 90’s completed a walking challenge raising more than £1,000. We had runners in the Bath Hath, each aiming to raise £500. One of our supporters is considering inviting friends for a meal or mulled wine near Christmas, another is planning to ask for donations via Facebook for their birthday, and someone is thinking about how to involve their family by completing a reverse advent calendar – donating £1 per day throughout Advent. These are just a handful of ideas, there are plenty more, and we always love to hear about the creativity you bring. Become a Life-Supporter

Life-Supporters are the financial life-blood of the Life Project. Individuals and groups who give regularly (usually monthly) to support the work of the charity. Whether it is £5 per month or £500 per month (we are praying for to happen) the knowledge and security of regular income which provides us with the assurance of sustainability for our projects and activities supporting people with learning disabilities, their families and carers.

• Individual Life-Supporter: Committing to give regularly to the Life Project is a fantastic way of providing on-going financial support to promote the sustainability of our services and allow us to plan for growth. Becoming a Life-Supporter is very quick and easy to set up via our LocalGiving page.  Additionally, if you are eligible, it also allows you to sign up for your monthly donations to be gift aided.
• Group/ School/ Business/ Church Donation Life-Supporter: We are grateful to the various groups who choose to support the Life Project throughout the year. It is a privilege to be selected as a charity by a business or a school for regular support and humbling when churches adopt the Life Project to receive mission funding. We often develop partnerships with such groups, as we find ways of working together – we are able to provide speakers to talk about the Life Project but also advice and guidance about the benefits of becoming more accessible and we welcome volunteers who may join us as part of a working party, to help out for a day or getting involved in the longer term. Gift Aid: If you are a UK tax payer and wish to Gift Aid a donation you are going to send to us, or that you have already sent, please click here to download our Gift aid form. Once you have completed and signed the form you can either e-mail back a scanned copy or send it to The Life Project (Bath), Old Acorn Barn, Englishcombe BA2 9DU.
