Our Parent Carer Drop-In sessions are for carers who want to find some space and time away from their caring roles. They offer a chance to become part of a supportive network of people who understand the challenges of caring for those with learning needs and other disabilities. A cup of coffee and some tasty treats are always on offer and those who attend can de-stress by joining in with an exercise or pilates class during the session.
New Covid arrangements September 2020:
Parent Carers are now operating a cafe style booking system. For more details please contact email@example.com
We are really glad to be back… see some feedback from our first session:
“Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Fiona and Rachel for today…. I was so pleased to see you both and felt thoroughly treated…. my cream tea was AMAZING! And you had made the cafe look so pretty! Thank you for all the thought and preparation that so obviously went into it! PS: for those of the group that may be wondering about how “safe” it all was…. you would be so impressed….. every table/chair was thoroughly cleaned before and after use, temperature taken upon arrival, hand sanitizer and face masks adorned….two metre rule around the tables….. Fiona and Rachel…. you are incredible! I am going to give you top marks on trip advisor and return ASAP! ”
Play space is also available for pre-schoolers. We meet on Tuesdays during term-time from 10am to 2pm at the Weston Hub, Penn Hill Road, BA1 4EH. For more information contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
