No. We are open to those of different faiths and no faith. Our work is rooted in our Christian belief that every person is known, valued and loved and this shapes our culture but we don’t exclude based on beliefs.
Our Springs group is specifically aimed at people with learning disabilities who are Christian and so this is oriented accordingly.
We don’t offer drop-in sessions. All of our activities are carefully risk assessed to make sure we have the right level of support in place to keep everyone safe.
Cost is dependent on the activity but we aim to keep our costs as low as possible. You’ll be informed of everything up front when we begin discussions.
Yes. personal assistants and support workers are welcome. We recognise the important role they play and we want everyone to feel comfortable, supported and able to participate fully.
No. Life Project isn’t a commissioned service. We are a community based charity providing ongoing connection and support for people with learning disabilities and their families.
Yes absolutely. We work closely with families, carers and other professionals to support each person well.
While we’re not a commissioned service, our role compliments others by providing ongoing community, friendship and connection.
Yes. We support and equip churches to become more inclusive and welcoming of people wtih learning disabilities, helping to grow communities of belonging across Bath and beyond.
We also run a small grants programme to support churches in developing this work.
